Course Overview:

Description:  In this class we will be studying Physical and Life Science.  Some of the topics included in this course are:  matter, chemistry, motion and forces, properties and changes, life’s structure and function, diversity, adaptation and behavior, symbiotic and competitive relationships in an ecosystem and reproduction and heredity.

• In this class students will value and use science as a process of obtaining knowledge based upon observable evidence 

• Students will use science process and thinking skills

• Develop an understanding in science concepts and principles

• Explore the social and historical connections in science

• Demonstrate understanding in the nature of science
