Wk 6 Assignment is Due Next Sunday 5/3

All Classes will be exploring the, "The Mental Health Benefits of Exercise" @

This is a very strange time in history and most of us are experiencing stress, anxiety or you may even be feeling  depressed, so you are not alone.  Did you know that exercise can treat mild to moderate depression as good as or even better than medication without the horrible side effects.  There are many peer reviewed science studies that have proved this theory, so get moving, get outside and feel better!

Please read the article and answer the following questions and share them with me.

1.) What are the some of the mental  health benefits of exercise?  What are, "Other tips for staying motivated when you’re also struggling with mental health"?

2.) Find an activity that you enjoy and  gets you moving, then write about your overall experience each time you do this.

3.)  Write about how your activity/exercise affects your overall mood and the benefits you noticed; energy levels, sleep, releasing stress, overall feeling etc. 

 You can type in Google docs and share (min. one page)or write on notebook paper, take a pic and email it to me (min. 1 page front and back).
