Welcome to Anatomy and Physiology
Course Description:
The purpose of Anatomy & Physiology is to provide exploratory experiences, labs and real-life application to better understand the structure and function of human anatomy with an emphasis on homeostasis. In this course students will learn gross and microscopic anatomy and physiology. Emphasis is on molecular biology, cells, tissues, integumentary, skeletal and muscular and nervous systems of the human body. Students will also perform labs including dissections, hands-on activities that utilize critical thinking skills and the scientific method.
